Terms of Service – Credbit Practice
Effective Date: September 12, 2026
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of Credbit Practice.
By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or using Credbit Practice, the user agrees to these Terms.
1. The Service
Credbit Practice provides software tools for professional-practice management, which may include:
- client and contact management;
- tasks and workflow;
- compliance management;
- invoicing and billing;
- document management;
- team collaboration;
- reporting;
- integrations; and
- other features made available from time to time.
Features and usage limits may vary by subscription package.
2. User Account
Users must provide accurate information and maintain the confidentiality of their account credentials.
Users are responsible for activities carried out through their authorised accounts and should immediately notify us of suspected unauthorised access.
3. Tenant Workspace
Each subscriber receives or is assigned a workspace subject to the applicable subscription plan.
The subscriber is responsible for:
- information entered into its workspace;
- users invited to the workspace;
- assigning appropriate permissions;
- maintaining lawful authority to process client information; and
- using the Platform in accordance with applicable laws.
4. Subscription and Usage Limits
Plans may contain limits relating to clients, users, documents, storage, invoices, or other resources.
The Platform may restrict creation of additional resources when an applicable limit is reached.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, unused allowances do not create a right to cash reimbursement or transfer.
5. Temporary Storage
Certain plans may include limited temporary document storage.
Temporary storage is subject to the capacity, file-size, retention, and other limits applicable to the user's package.
Users should connect their designated long-term storage integration where required.
6. Google Drive Integration
Credbit Practice may allow users to connect their own Google account.
By connecting Google Drive, the user authorises Credbit Practice to access the Google data necessary to provide the selected integration functionality.
The user remains responsible for:
- selecting the correct Google account;
- maintaining access to that account;
- complying with Google's applicable terms; and
- reviewing permissions before granting access.
The Platform does not require the user to disclose their Google password to Credbit Practice.
7. Third-Party Services
Credbit Practice may integrate with third-party services such as Google.
Third-party services are governed by their own terms, privacy policies, availability, and technical requirements.
We do not control and cannot guarantee the continuous availability of third-party services.
8. Acceptable Use
Users must not use Credbit Practice to:
- violate applicable law;
- infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights;
- upload malicious code;
- attempt unauthorised access to another tenant;
- interfere with Platform security;
- circumvent subscription or resource restrictions; or
- use the Platform for fraudulent, abusive, or unlawful purposes.
9. User Content
Users retain their rights in content lawfully uploaded to their workspace.
The user grants us the limited rights necessary to host, process, transmit, secure, back up, and otherwise handle such content solely for providing the Platform and related services.
10. Confidentiality and Security
We implement reasonable measures intended to protect workspace information.
Users are responsible for configuring permissions appropriately and protecting their login credentials and connected third-party accounts.
11. Availability and Changes
We may maintain, improve, update, or modify the Platform.
Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, security events, hosting issues, third-party services, or circumstances outside reasonable control.
12. Suspension and Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where reasonably necessary because of:
- non-payment;
- material violation of these Terms;
- security risks;
- unlawful use;
- abuse of Platform resources; or
- termination of the subscription.
Applicable data-export or retention arrangements will be subject to the subscription terms, technical capabilities, and applicable law.
13. Professional Responsibility
Credbit Practice is a technology platform.
Unless expressly stated for a particular service, use of the Platform does not itself constitute legal, tax, accounting, audit, secretarial, financial, or other professional advice.
Users remain responsible for professional judgments, statutory filings, deadlines, and compliance obligations applicable to their practice and clients.
14. Disclaimer
The Platform is provided subject to applicable contractual commitments and law.
Third-party integrations, government portals, APIs, networks, and external services may be unavailable or changed without our control.
We do not warrant that every external service will remain continuously available.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, liability arising from use of the Platform will be subject to the limitations agreed in the applicable subscription or service arrangement.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms to reflect changes in the Platform, law, security requirements, or business operations.
Material changes will be communicated or published as reasonably appropriate.
17. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India, subject to applicable mandatory law.
Courts at Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory statutory forum or jurisdiction that applies.
